Finally, the Senate has done something right for a change. Markwayne Mullin, a man who actually understands the struggles of real Americans, is now leading Homeland Security. After years of a department sliding out of control, we might finally see some common sense brought back to our borders.
For too long, liberals have run Homeland Security like it’s a sanctuary for illegal aliens. They’ve handcuffed our border agents, thrown out the rule book, and cared more about what the global elite think than what American families want. People are sick of watching career politicians and woke bureaucrats fail to protect them, while criminals walk across the same border day after day.
President Trump isn’t playing games. By sending someone tough — a true fighter — to this critical post, he’s signaling that enough is enough. The days of crying about “compassion” while communities suffer under the weight of lawlessness need to end. Americans don’t want open borders, endless excuses, or half-hearted enforcement. They want a leader who will actually put their security first, and that’s exactly what they’ll get with Mullin at the helm.
Of course, the left is already losing its mind. They complain that Homeland Security has “crossed lines” by enforcing the law. Only a liberal could twist protecting the homeland into some sort of human rights abuse. Where was their outrage when coyotes and drug cartels flooded across the border, putting kids in danger? Their priorities have always been upside down — more concerned about what the UN thinks than about the safety of our own citizens.
The truth is simple: America cannot thrive if its borders are open and its laws are ignored. With Mullin leading the charge, the message is clear — America comes first. Maybe now the left will learn the hard way what law and order really looks like. Or is that too much to ask from people who’d rather wave foreign flags than defend our own?
