If you want to see how quickly liberals can ruin a good thing, just look at what’s happening at our airports. Thanks to the reckless leadership of Chuck Schumer and his fellow Democrat cronies, members of Congress just lost their fancy VIP treatment at Delta Air Lines. These politicians have spent years strutting right through airport lines like royalty, skipping the everyday hassles that hardworking Americans have to deal with. Well, that special privilege is gone—and they’ve got nobody but themselves to blame.
It’s rich to watch these same Democrats, who can’t be bothered to secure our border or balance a budget, suddenly get a taste of the chaos they’ve sown. Schumer and his left-wing pals couldn’t properly manage a simple government funding agreement. Instead, they played their usual game of brinkmanship, pushing for a reckless shutdown just to flex their political muscle. Ordinary Americans always pay the price, but this time, the political elite are forced to eat a little humble pie too.
It’s amazing how fast these so-called “public servants” rush to defend government perks for themselves, while ignoring the needs of the taxpayers footing the bill. Most folks have to wait in endless lines, take off their shoes, and hustle through crowded airports. Meanwhile, Democrats act outraged when their cushy perks get swept away as a result of their own legislative disasters. Classic liberal hypocrisy—rules for thee, but not for me.
Americans are tired of these globalist politicians living like kings and queens on the taxpayer dime. They wine and dine in first-class lounges, while real patriots are slogging through TSA with screaming kids and overpriced coffee. Maybe this little dose of inconvenience will remind them what it’s like to be a regular American for once. It’s almost funny, if it weren’t so pathetic.
Here’s an idea: instead of crying about losing their Delta privileges, maybe Democrats should get their act together and focus on the issues that actually matter. If Schumer and friends can’t handle airport lines, how on earth can they handle leading a nation? Maybe they’ll learn something valuable while they’re waiting for a flight…but don’t hold your breath.
