Chicago politician blames murdered student instead of illegal immigrant killer

Once again, liberal Chicago politicians have managed to reach shocking new lows. An 18-year-old college student is gunned down in cold blood—her life stolen by someone who shouldn’t even have been in this country. But instead of slamming the criminal or the out-of-control illegal immigration policies that brought him here, a Democrat alderwoman decides to share the blame with the victim. Let that sink in.

It’s apparently not enough that this young woman was murdered. Now, the left wants to twist the story and suggest she should’ve somehow known better. Are Americans supposed to tiptoe through their own cities, fearful they might “startle” a violent illegal alien who, in the eyes of these politicians, apparently deserves more empathy than a dead student? This is the backwards reality of so-called “progressive” policies.

Liberals in cities like Chicago constantly pat themselves on the back for being “sanctuary” havens. What they fail to mention is the chaos and heartbreak their policies have brought to real American families. They refuse to admit the obvious: Open borders breed lawlessness. Ordinary Americans pay the price. How many more Americans will be sacrificed on the altar of globalist pipe dreams before Democrats admit they were wrong?

This wasn’t an accident. This isn’t about compassion. It’s about political theater. Instead of demanding justice for the victim, the left scrambles to excuse the inexcusable, all in the name of inclusivity. They’ll bend over backwards for anyone as long as it fits their agenda—but when innocent Americans end up dead, suddenly it becomes a chance to blame the victim.

What does it say when a nation’s leaders put the safety of criminals ahead of citizens? Chicago’s leadership—aided and abetted by left-wing ideologues—has made its priorities clear. If you’re not furious yet, you’re not paying attention. Just how many more lives must be lost before the left admits what every common-sense American already knows: Secure the borders, protect our citizens, and stop making excuses for evil.
