Once again, the liberal elite proves how out of touch they are. This Saturday, Bruce Springsteen—the so-called “man of the people”—will be crooning at an anti-Trump, “No Kings” rally in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Funny how a millionaire rock star born from wealth is the left’s idea of the voice of regular Americans. The left just can’t help trotting out washed-up entertainers every time they sense trouble from the populist movement.
Let’s make no mistake: this “No Kings” rally isn’t about democracy or freedom. It’s about attacking President Trump and his supporters, plain and simple. For years, Springsteen and his Hollywood pals have used their stage to lecture the country, all while hiding behind their mansions and private jets. How many working-class Minnesotans actually care what a New Jersey rock star thinks about their vote? Liberals cling to celebrities because their own political ideas have failed the average voter. They desperately hope bright lights and guitar riffs will cover up the mess their open border and anti-American policies have created.
It’s laughable to watch the left pretend to champion freedom while inviting musicians to shill for their globalist agenda. These rallies are all about silencing conservative voices and propping up their own. If Springsteen cared about America, maybe he’d spend less time bashing political opponents and more time helping the communities crushed by Democrat policies. Does anyone actually believe career politicians and celebrity activists know what’s best for the heartland?
The “No Kings” slogan is rich coming from people who worship at the altar of government mandates and Big Tech censorship. Liberals love to whine about tyranny—but only when conservatives are in charge. Where was Springsteen when Biden and his cronies trampled on constitutional rights during the pandemic, or when they weaponized the DOJ against political enemies? Silence. Their outrage is as fake as their blue-collar act.
Is there anything more predictable than the left holding a pity party with Bruce Springsteen headlining? Maybe next time the left can book an actual working American to speak. Until then, the rest of us will keep fighting for real freedom—no rock concert required.
