Democrats aren’t sorry, because to them, nothing is ever their fault. An innocent 18-year-old woman, Sheridan Gorman, is dead in Chicago—shot and killed by a Venezuelan illegal immigrant. This never should have happened. But it did, and once again, Americans are picking up the pieces while Democrats blame everyone but themselves.
Let’s not mince words: this blood is on the hands of every liberal politician who turned Chicago into a sanctuary city, who propped open the border, and who cared more for non-citizens than their own. Instead of regret, Chicago’s mayor actually doubled down, bragging online about keeping parts of the city off limits to ICE. Forget apologies. Democrats like him only care about protecting “immigrants”—even those here illegally—while American families grieve.
It’s not just one mayor, either. The whole Democrat apparatus twists itself in knots to avoid taking responsibility. Watch as they change the subject, blame Donald Trump, or even argue that America’s real problem is not criminals — but guns. They don’t even have the basic decency to say Sheridan Gorman’s name or admit what caused her death. Their leaders openly say they put illegal aliens first, inventing absurd phrases like “undocumented Americans.” Who do they think they’re fooling?
They see open borders as their way to hold power. Every crisis, every violent crime committed by an illegal, is just “collateral damage” on their path to permanent control. It’s insult after insult. The governor took days to even acknowledge the killing, and even then couldn’t bring himself to say what happened or why. Meanwhile, the Biden administration is busy shutting down enforcement, sabotaging Border Patrol, and trying to gut our immigration laws behind closed doors.
None of it is a mistake. Democrats are open about wanting fewer jailed criminals, about getting rid of ICE, and about “restoring humanity” by inviting chaos over security. To them, laws are just obstacles, and American citizens are privileged nuisances. Sheridan Gorman’s family joins so many “Angel Families” whose loved ones are gone forever while liberal politicians talk about fake compassion. If the left wins in November, there will only be more dead Americans — and more Democrat crocodile tears.
Is this the America people really want? Or will voters finally say: enough is enough?
