Democrats push to gut ICE while chaos grows at the border Trump furious over Homeland Security standoff

The ongoing chaos in Washington proves one thing loud and clear: Democrats care more about scoring cheap political points than securing our nation’s borders. Republicans tried to get the Department of Homeland Security up and running again, but leftists won’t get on board unless ICE – our country’s frontline enforcers against illegal immigration – gets gutted. The GOP’s plan to fund Homeland Security without supporting ICE’s mission is floundering, and President Trump is right to be furious.

Why should American taxpayers fund a Department of Homeland Security if it’s banned from stopping, detaining, and deporting illegals pouring over the border? It’s an absolute joke. Yet, this is the left’s vision for America—open borders, big government, and zero accountability for lawbreakers. Democrats want to cripple ICE, then act shocked when crime runs rampant in American communities.

It’s almost laughable. The very people who scream about “protecting our democracy” are the first to demand that criminals be turned loose and laws be ignored. If they had it their way, ICE would be banished forever, and anyone could stroll right in. American citizens deserve better than these dangerous games from globalist politicians who care more about illegal immigrants than they do about struggling families in our own neighborhoods.

Let’s not forget, President Trump isn’t happy, and neither should any American who believes in law and order. The idea that Democrats hold the fate of Homeland Security hostage unless we throw out the rulebook is despicable. This isn’t about compassion; it’s about power. It’s not about helping Americans; it’s about helping themselves and their radical base.

If Democrats got their wish, there would be no border, no enforcement, and no consequences. So, the question is, who does Washington really work for—law-abiding Americans, or law-breaking foreigners? It’s time to choose which side you’re on.
