Every time the government starts talking about shutdowns, both Democrats and their establishment Republican pals love to hold airline passengers hostage—forcing families, workers, and business travelers across this nation to suffer the fallout with sky-high lines at the TSA. Let’s call this what it is: political blackmail straight out of Washington’s playbook.
Why should hardworking Americans be punished for D.C.’s incompetence? Try standing in a three-hour TSA line because some out-of-touch bureaucrat and their union pals want to make a point. While the elites in Congress jet off on private planes, middle-class Americans are left sweating through government-created chaos at the airport. That’s what happens when you put the government in charge of keeping America moving. The Democrats, especially, love this.
