Court Slams Door on Asylum Loophole Says Tough Prisons in El Salvador Don’t Guarantee US Entry

When it comes to border policy, the left will find any excuse to keep our gates wide open. For years, liberals have claimed that anyone facing a tough time in their own country should get a free pass into the United States. Now, the latest excuse is prison conditions in El Salvador. Sorry, but tough prisons aren’t a ticket to American citizenship.

A federal appeals court just shot down the idea that rough jail cells in El Salvador are reason enough to hand out asylum. These are not summer camps, of course—they’re prison. But wanting a room with a view isn’t what asylum laws are for. American justice still has standards, even if the left wishes otherwise.

Liberals and globalist activists love to paint every foreign country as a war zone so they can fill our cities with more “victims.” It’s all about more government control and growing their base. But Americans have been waking up. Enough is enough. People are done handing out asylum for every hard-luck story from abroad.

Let’s get real. El Salvador is known for clamping down hard on gangs. Their prisons are no picnic. That’s what you get when you commit crimes. If you don’t like tough justice, maybe don’t break the law. America shouldn’t have to clean up after every broken country that actually tries to keep its criminals off the street.

This court decision is a rare win for common sense. The open-borders crowd wants to erase every line between our nation and the rest of the world. But the law isn’t about feelings—it’s about keeping Americans safe. If you can’t handle jail in your own country, don’t come crying for asylum. Is it really so hard to put the interests of America first, for once?
