Once again, Big Tech’s chickens have come home to roost. This time, it’s Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta feeling the heat, and frankly, it’s about time. A jury in New Mexico has decided Meta failed to protect innocent children from dangerous predators prowling on its platforms. The punishment? A whopping $375 million in civil damages—proof that Americans have had enough of Silicon Valley’s empty promises and dangerous double standards.
This isn’t just about one lawsuit. It’s about Big Tech arrogance. Meta, like so many left-coast billionaires, loves to preach about “community standards” while silencing conservatives, banning traditional values, and letting liberal activists run wild. But when it comes to the basic job of keeping children safe, they look the other way. Is it because protecting kids doesn’t fit their woke agenda? Or does profit just matter more to Zuckerberg than American families?
Every parent knows this isn’t just a minor glitch or “Facebook being Facebook.” Meta built its fortune on harvesting personal data, feeding addictive content, and pretending it’s all harmless. Meanwhile, criminals and predators have found a playground. Instead of admitting failure, the company hides behind corporate lawyers and PR spin, hoping the public won’t notice their complete lack of accountability.
The question is, where were our so-called “leaders” while our kids were put in harm’s way? The left has spent years demanding more power for tech giants, all while families are ignored and children pay the price. You won’t see mainstream media demanding answers. They’re too busy protecting powerful liberal donors and shilling for globalist interests to care about what’s happening in real American homes.
With this jury ruling, maybe—just maybe—there’s hope that the people haven’t given up the fight. If Zuckerberg won’t protect our most vulnerable, then it’s time he faces real consequences. America’s kids are not for sale to the highest bidder in Silicon Valley, no matter how much Big Tech spends on lawyers and spin doctors. Why does it always take a jury, not our so-called leaders, to slap some sense into the out-of-control tech elites?
