Army raises enlistment age to 42 as woke policies spark desperate scramble for recruits

The United States Army is making a move that reeks of desperation, not strength. They’re now letting recruits sign up until the age of 42. Not long ago, 35 was the cutoff. But thanks to failed liberal leadership and woke policies turning away patriots, the Army is left scrambling for warm bodies. The top brass can’t hide it. Our nation’s military, once the fiercest force on Earth, is struggling to find enough volunteers. And the Biden administration just keeps pushing policies that drive away the young, strong, and patriotic.

We all know why this is happening. Years of pandering to the woke mob and lecturing soldiers about pronouns and diversity have driven real warriors out. Who wants to serve a country where bravery is replaced by political correctness and drill sergeants are forced to toe the line of social justice nonsense? Instead of inspiring new recruits, the left has turned military service into a circus of virtue signaling.

The left’s love affair with endless wars, open borders, and supporting globalist interests over the American people hasn’t gone unnoticed, either. Americans see politicians dumping billions into Ukraine while ignoring the border crisis at home. Young men and women don’t want to risk their lives for leadership that puts global agendas before defending the homeland. It’s policies like these that make it harder to fill the ranks with the next generation of fighters.

So what does the Army do? They raise the enlistment age. Instead of fixing their recruitment crisis by restoring faith in the military, standing up for American values, and getting tough on discipline, they water down the rules. The military used to be picky for a reason—only the best got in. Now, the message is: “We’re just happy anyone’s still signing up.” It’s embarrassing. America deserves better.

While the Pentagon is looking for middle-aged recruits to plug the holes, what will they do next? Will the Army start handing out enlistment contracts at senior centers? Maybe that’s what you get when liberals run the show—it’s not about strength, it’s about optics. Are Americans going to keep letting our military become a social experiment, or will we stand up and demand a fighting force worthy of this nation’s greatness?
