OpenAI tanks Sora in stunning fail Big Tech hype exposed again

OpenAI just yanked the plug on its big “Sora” video platform—less than a year after rolling it out with all the usual tech-world fanfare. It was supposed to be a game-changer, the next big thing in online video, powered by the so-called “genius” of artificial intelligence. But, as usual, the woke tech elites massively over-promised and wildly under-delivered. The Silicon Valley script hasn’t changed: hype, failure, retreat.

Why did Sora crash and burn so fast? Easy. These self-proclaimed visionaries are more interested in chasing Wall Street dollars and prepping for their own public stock jackpots than actually serving the people. The everyday American doesn’t need more flashy, surveillance-driven video platforms. Maybe OpenAI realized nobody outside a handful of tech-obsessed urban liberals cared for yet another AI “disruptor.”

It’s laughable to see these globalist companies pivot, spinning every failure as some “strategic shift.” Don’t be fooled: when a hyped project dies this quickly, it’s because it couldn’t cut it. Silicon Valley and its cheerleaders love to accuse conservatives of being anti-progress, but who’s really holding back the future? The liberal tech giants are too busy cashing in and virtue signaling to deliver anything useful or lasting.

Instead of innovation, Americans get bait-and-switch tactics. One minute, we’re supposed to believe in the promise of AI revolutionizing entertainment, the next minute—poof, it’s gone. OpenAI is waving goodbye to Sora and jumping onto the next profit wagon: so-called “business productivity tools.” Translation? More ways to replace real workers with robots and make it even harder for Main Street to compete.

Will regular people ever come first for these tech empires? Don’t count on it. The moment it gets tough, they just move the goalposts, blame “strategy,” and start talking about “public offerings.” Maybe it’s time Americans stop buying the hype. Maybe it’s time to ask: why should anyone trust these woke companies to shape our digital future?
