Ex-Con Thanks Newsom for Early Release and Promises 2028 Vote—Are Democrats Buying Loyalty With Chaos

California has become the land where criminals run free and law-abiding citizens live in fear. Thanks to radical leftist policies pushed by Governor Gavin Newsom, the streets are crowded with people who barely served any time for their crimes. Now, in a scene that perfectly sums up this upside-down world, a former convict is proudly praising Newsom—because he got to walk out of prison early. Even more shocking? He says he’s eager to repay Newsom with his vote when Newsom inevitably runs for president in 2028.

Democrats like Newsom swear up and down that letting criminals out early is about “second chances.” But what about protecting the rest of us from repeat offenders? What about the families whose lives are destroyed by rising crime? They don’t even get a mention. Instead, Newsom and his elite pals in Sacramento are too busy patting themselves on the back for “restorative justice.” In the meantime, honest citizens are forced to lock their doors before the sun goes down and businesses are leaving California in droves.

This latest spectacle is pure Democrat theater. The left claims their reforms help society, but it’s pretty clear who actually benefits. When an ex-con can thank the governor for his early release and pledge political support in return, it sounds a whole lot like buying votes—using public safety as a bargaining chip. The American people see right through this pathetic game. While hard-working folks get slapped with higher taxes and stricter regulations, criminals get a get-out-of-jail-free card and a seat at the liberal table.

Let’s be honest: these soft-on-crime policies are not mistakes. This is intentional. The globalist left wants chaos in America so they can step in and push their phony solutions. It’s no coincidence that the loudest champions of these reckless experiments never have to deal with the consequences. Their mansions are gated and their neighborhoods patrolled. Meanwhile, everyone else gets told to suck it up and accept the “new normal” of soaring theft, assaults, and drug abuse.

If Gavin Newsom thinks early-released felons pledging votes will carry him to the White House, he’s more delusional than he looks. At what point do we say: enough with rewarding lawbreakers? Maybe the next time a criminal thanks a politician for cutting their sentence short, voters will remember who they’re really protecting—and it sure isn’t the good, honest people of this country.
