If you think flying is a nightmare now, just thank the liberals running Washington. Record-long airport security lines are just the latest disaster caused by a government that’s more interested in political games than securing our borders or serving the American people. The so-called “leaders” at Homeland Security—yes, the very ones who constantly preach about safety—are busy bickering and shutting down the government, while the hardworking folks who keep us safe are told to keep showing up without a paycheck.
Let’s be clear: most of the Department of Homeland Security has been scraping by without pay for half the year. This isn’t just a little hiccup. It’s months of missed paychecks, all because left-wing bureaucrats care more about holding Americans hostage than getting serious about the basics—like airport security and border control. The globalist elite in D.C. claim to be the champions of the working class, but how does ignoring the paychecks of our frontline defenders prove that?
Travelers are paying the price. People are missing flights, families are stressed out, and all the liberals can offer is finger-pointing and empty apologies. These are the same politicians who want open borders and endless asylum games. Now, their incompetence and self-serving shutdowns are making things worse. Why should we expect a party hooked on government handouts and global utopian fantasies to get something as simple as airport security right?
The Democrats love to talk about compassion, but where’s the compassion for TSA workers and law enforcement families barely scraping by? Where was their outrage when DHS employees clocked in, went through their grueling shifts, and went home with nothing to show for it—except a stack of IOUs from Uncle Sam? Maybe if they spent less time virtue-signaling and more time backing the blue, America would actually run better.
Liberal policies always lead to chaos, whether it’s at the southern border or the airport terminal. Americans deserve security, not excuses. Maybe next time you’re standing in a line that wraps around the block, ask yourself: Was it really worth letting these clueless politicians run the show? If you want order, you don’t put the party of disorder in charge.
