Zohran Mamdani exposed using your tax dollars to boost his career while real issues go ignored

Some politicians just can’t help themselves. Now, Zohran Mamdani, the so-called “Mayor,” has finally shown his cards. And surprise, it’s all about clinging to power—at your expense.

While everyday Americans worry about inflation, crime, and schools falling apart, Mamdani can’t be bothered. Instead of rolling up his sleeves and handling the real problems facing the city, he’s spending his time, energy, and—worst of all—your hard-earned tax dollars on shameless self-promotion. The main item on his to-do list isn’t serving the taxpayers. It’s keeping his cushy seat at City Hall.

Liberals always talk a big game about transparency and fighting for the “little guy,” but when push comes to shove, it’s another classic case of “rules for thee, not for me.” Mamdani is so focused on winning the next election that the job he was actually elected to do gets thrown out the window. The hypocrisy is staggering, but not surprising. After all, this is the kind of entitled behavior you get when city government is treated like a stepping stone for ambitious activists, not a duty to the citizens.

What’s really galling is how Mamdani uses taxpayer resources to campaign for himself. The city’s coffers are not his personal piggy bank, but that’s exactly how he treats them. Every dollar wasted on self-serving political maneuvering is a dollar stolen from hardworking families who could use it for safer streets, better schools, or lower taxes. Remember, every time a liberal politician chooses vanity over responsibility, it’s Americans who pay the real price.

It’s time to ask—if Mamdani is too busy trying to get reelected to do his actual job, why is he getting paid at all? This is the rot at the heart of left-wing politics: power for power’s sake, no matter the cost to our communities. It’s not just incompetence. It’s an insult to every single voter.

Maybe voters should remind Mamdani that the ballot box isn’t a participation trophy for career politicians more interested in limelight than leadership.
