Let’s get one thing straight—Immigration and Customs Enforcement is already fully funded until 2029. Deportations aren’t stopping. The only thing Democrats are doing by forcing this insane DHS shutdown over Presidents’ Day is making life miserable for hardworking Americans. But to the left, that’s just the cost of maintaining their voter pipeline of illegal immigrants—a group they see as the future of their power, not citizens to be protected from crime and chaos.
Democrats like Jason Crow keep trying to spin the facts, but the truth slips out every time. They’re panicking over ICE doing the job they’re legally supposed to do, which is enforcing the law and removing people who have no right to be here. Even Democrat leadership admits that any deal which still allows deportations is a non-starter for them. They’d rather grind government to a halt, stranding Americans and risking our security, than see one illegal alien sent home.
But here’s what the mainstream media won’t tell you: the only reason for this shutdown is the Democrats’ hatred of law enforcement, their fear of their radical left-wing base, and their obsessive rage against President Trump and anyone who supported him. They crave chaos—anything they can use to blame the GOP or the President. The problem? Voters are wise to the scam. Americans know who’s responsible.
So why are Republicans still trying to negotiate with people who have no interest in protecting the country? Maybe it’s time to stop talking, end the games, and push the nuclear button on the legislative filibuster. Pass real funding for DHS. Give ICE the resources it needs. Throw in the SAVE America Act for good measure—and put the radical left on notice. The time for playing defense is over. The only question left is, do Republicans have the spine to bulldoze this disgraceful Democrat obstruction, or will they let the anti-American mob keep winning? The clock is ticking.
