At Houston’s biggest airport, something incredible just happened. When chaos hit and travelers were staring down four-hour security lines, the government’s usual answer—just “wait and see”—wasn’t going to cut it. So, the cavalry arrived. ICE officers, always painted as the villains by the left, jumped in and cut those outrageous wait times down to just about an hour. This is what real leadership and decisive action look like.
For days, travelers suffered thanks to Democrats’ never-ending mismanagement. The TSA workers—already underpaid thanks to bureaucratic bungling—were forced to work without pay. Of course, the Biden administration wrings its hands, blaming Republicans for upholding border laws, but they’re somehow fine with government workers going unpaid. This is the rotten fruit of liberal policies: endless red tape, pointless virtue-signaling, and, as always, Americans left holding the bag.
But as soon as ICE officers joined the front lines, things turned around fast. The same ICE that liberals shame and demonize? They did what progressives never do: Get things done. While liberal elites jet off to Europe and sip champagne, real American agents made sure families got to their flights. The left loves to chant about “abolishing ICE.” Maybe they should try waiting in a four-hour security line next time before bashing the men and women who actually keep things moving.
If Houston’s airport taught us anything this week, it’s that American institutions work best when run by patriotic workers—especially those the left wants to defund. You’ll never hear the globalists or their pals in the media give ICE credit. They’re too busy chasing some woke fairy tale about “open borders” and “compassion” while families miss their flights and business trips get ruined. When push comes to shove, it isn’t the liberal talking heads rescuing everyday citizens—it’s ICE officers, stepping in, serving their country, and fixing what big government broke.
So to everyone out there trashing ICE or demanding we “transform” airport security in the name of “equity,” maybe look at the real results for a change. A little law and order goes a long way. Isn’t it about time America put common sense ahead of progressive pipe dreams?
