When the going gets tough, Democrats run for the hills. Once again, their so-called “leadership” has left hardworking Americans out to dry. Thanks to Chuck Schumer’s never-ending war on border security, he and his Senate Democrats have refused to fund Homeland Security until they squeeze out every woke demand for Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Meanwhile, the people who keep us safe—the TSA workers—were facing missed paychecks while the elites bickered in their Washington bubble.
But here’s the difference between strong leadership and liberal incompetence. President Trump isn’t content to let federal workers become political hostages while Democrats throw tantrums over their latest open-borders fantasy. Instead, Trump acted. He cut through the red tape and went straight to work, announcing an executive order so that TSA workers get paid, no thanks to the grandstanding left.
While Schumer and his friends grandstand on cable news, pretending to care about “the little guy,” it’s the America-First president who actually delivers. Trump understands what millions of Americans know: the border needs to be secure, and our public servants shouldn’t pay the price for the left’s betrayal. These aren’t greedy fat cats—they’re normal men and women who protect us every single day from threats the Democrat Party pretends don’t exist.
It should outrage every real American that Senate liberals are holding our security hostage for their globalist, pro-illegal immigration schtick. They refuse to fund the very agencies meant to keep us safe, hoping to score points with activist mobs and international NGOs, not the working families they swore to represent. That’s not just bad leadership. That’s anti-American insanity.
But once again, Trump does what he does best—make the haters squirm and get the job done for the country he loves. Maybe the left should take notes instead of staging another circus. Or do they prefer government shutdowns and chaos just so their radical friends are happy? Americans deserve answers, not excuses.
