The Russian economy is taking a beating, even as the Biden administration actually moved to ease up on Russian oil sanctions. You heard that right: The same liberals who claim to “stand with Ukraine” just handed Putin a lifeline, letting Russian oil cash flood in. Yet somehow, Moscow still can’t foot the bill for its slaughter in Ukraine.
What does this show? For starters, the left’s globalist games are backfiring. American families are paying more at the pump, while Russian oligarchs are being asked to bail out Putin’s blood-soaked budget. Instead of keeping the pressure on Russia, liberal leaders throw Moscow a bone. They’d rather bow down to foreign interests and green energy phantoms than actually starve Putin of resources. Why are globalist liberals more worried about upsetting their friends in Davos than shutting down Putin’s war machine? Maybe it’s because their “America last” policies never miss a chance to kick Americans to the curb.
Putin scrambling for cash should be a red flag. Yet the Biden administration looks the other way as Moscow and its billionaires keep the bullets flying. Where’s the outrage now? Maybe it’s time we start putting America first—and leave the Russian oligarchs to sort out their own mess.
