Congress just sent a loud message to every American: our borders—and our laws—are up for grabs. Early Friday morning, the Senate approved a so-called “Homeland Security” funding bill. Here’s the twisted part—there wasn’t a dime in it for our brave border patrol or ICE agents. No, those two essential forces were left out in the cold, all because weak Republicans surrendered to the radical demands of Democrats. Is this what standing for America looks like?
The left has always put politics over country, but this is a new low. While families all across our nation worry about border chaos and rising crime, Democratic leaders just made it clear where their loyalties lie: not with hardworking citizens, but with globalist causes and open border policies. It’s clear they’d rather block funding for ICE and border patrol than secure America. They don’t care about national security. They care about virtue signaling to their woke base.
And where were our so-called Republican fighters? Once again, they folded like wet paper bags. Instead of going toe-to-toe with Democrats and protecting the American people, these politicians caved under pressure. We send them to Washington to hold the line. Instead, they’re more worried about re-election and bad headlines than actually doing what is right for this country.
Let’s be honest: Without ICE and the border patrol, our southern border might as well be an open door. Drugs, crime, and illegal crossings are already spiraling out of control. Now, thanks to shaky leadership and liberal incompetence, it’s only going to get worse. This is exactly what the far left wants—chaos at the border and a weakened America, all while pretending it’s in the name of compassion.
Americans can’t afford to sit quietly while politicians play games with national security. The Senate just showed every American that liberal priorities come before public safety. If this doesn’t make you angry, what will? Border security isn’t optional—it’s the core of a sovereign nation. When will Washington finally remember who they’re supposed to serve?
