Liberal activists are at it again—this time trying to stop President Trump’s bold new tariffs in the name of so-called “advocacy.” These groups are storming the trade court, whining that Trump’s tariffs are unprecedented and even calling them unconstitutional. Funny, isn’t it, how the Left suddenly cares about the Constitution when it gets in their way?
Let’s get real. President Trump’s tariffs are a shot in the arm for American workers and industries. For decades, globalist elites shipped our jobs overseas and let China and other countries walk all over us. Now, the same crowd wants to kneecap Trump’s efforts to level the playing field. It’s the same old story: global profits first, American families last.
These advocacy groups want to make everything about “law” and “process” because they know they can’t win on substance. Where was the outrage when foreign countries slapped tariffs on us? Where were the think pieces about international “fairness” when American factories shut down? Crickets from the mainstream Left.
What really bothers these groups is that Trump’s America First agenda keeps exposing the weakness and hypocrisy of their own policies. They want the trade court to pause tariffs, but who benefits? Not ordinary Americans. Not blue-collar workers. It’s the Wall Street class and global corporations, of course—their favorite donors.
Let’s call this what it is: an attack on American strength by a bunch of liberal lawyers and international money-backers. Trump’s tariffs put our country first, and the Left can’t stand it. If it’s “unprecedented” to fight for American jobs, then maybe we need more of it. Since when did standing up for your own people become unconstitutional? Only in the twisted logic of the anti-Trump crowd.
