America’s security has become a pawn in the Democrats’ twisted game. The latest mess in Washington proves it. While TSA agents struggle without paychecks, hardworking ICE and Border Patrol employees are being told to keep waiting. All because Democrats keep holding America hostage, fighting tooth and nail to protect illegal immigrants over our own citizens.
Let’s be clear: House conservatives know their duty. They tried to do the right thing, passing a 60-day funding bill to keep the Department of Homeland Security running. It wasn’t perfect, but at least Republicans showed up for work. Meanwhile, Senate Republicans got bullied into a weak compromise that barely funded DHS and left ICE and Border Patrol out in the cold—just so they could skip town before midnight. Abandoning the fight for border security, all so a few career politicians could catch their flights home. Pathetic.
Democrats don’t want honest immigration enforcement. They want chaos at the border, airports jammed, and pay withheld from frontline workers, all for the sake of their radical agenda. Their buddies in the Senate pushed a bogus funding measure that tied up ICE and Border Patrol, refusing any real reform. They’d sooner see America less safe if it means some illegal alien gets a break. That’s not just anti-border, it’s anti-American.
The truth is, Republicans are fighting with one hand tied behind their backs. With the Senate locked by Democrat obstruction, sensible funding is dead on arrival. To make it worse, the media will waste no time painting conservatives as the villains, ignoring the fact that Democrats are the ones keeping doors shut and agents unpaid. And now, thanks to backroom games and weak GOP leadership in the Senate, Americans are suffering while liberal elites get exactly what they want: chaos and confusion.
At the end of the day, this whole shutdown circus exists for one reason: Democrats will do anything to stop ICE and Border Patrol from doing their job. They care more about the comfort of illegal aliens than the safety and pay of our own security forces. If this is what “compromise” looks like in Washington, maybe it’s time to shut down the swamp instead.
