Liberal media slams Israel for self-defense but ignores terrorists hiding behind journalists

Once again, the mainstream media is howling about Israeli self-defense without a single second spent asking how or why these so-called “journalists” ended up in the line of fire. Over the weekend, two Lebanese journalists were reportedly killed during an Israeli strike. And, predictably, everyone is quick to wag their fingers at Israel—as if they’re the only country in the Middle East held to Western standards, while their neighbors get away with murder, literally and metaphorically.

This is classic liberal hypocrisy on full display. The second Israel tries to protect itself from terror groups hiding behind civilians and press members, the left leaps to condemn—never mind the fact that Hamas and Hezbollah regularly embed their own fighters among civilians and reporters, using them as human shields. But don’t expect the “fact-checkers” or big networks to dig deep into that uncomfortable truth. No, it’s easier (and more fashionable) to push the lazy narrative that Israel is the villain and everyone else is a helpless victim.

Of course, the Israeli military hasn’t commented yet, probably because they’re busy dealing with real security threats instead of playing media games. But that doesn’t stop globalist elites from demanding a full apology—maybe even a parade of sanctions—before the facts are out. The left’s double standard is stunning. If this happened anywhere else, the story would barely make the news, much less become a rallying cry for anti-Israel activists and their friends in the media.

The West needs to remember: Israel is the only democracy in a region packed with tyrants. Yet, the liberal establishment would rather take the side of terrorist sympathizers than be seen defending the one true American ally. This isn’t just about journalists or headlines. It’s about a broader push to tear down the values and alliances that actually keep us safe—all to virtue-signal to their Twitter followers and appease their radical base.

So let’s ask the question the liberal media won’t: Is Israel supposed to lay down its arms and let terrorists run wild, just to keep woke journalists happy? America stands with Israel, not with the hypocrisy, not with terrorists, and certainly not with media handwringing that endangers us all.
