Democrats keep talking about “accountability” and “ethics” until it’s one of their own who gets caught. Just look at Florida Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick. The House Ethics Committee found her guilty, yet the media barely blinks. Imagine the headlines if a conservative was in her shoes—wouldn’t every network be trumpeting GOP “corruption” across the country?
Instead, liberals circle the wagons. The media carries water for Democrats, burying the story and sugarcoating reality. Apparently, integrity only matters when it’s a talking point against Republicans. When it’s a Democrat walking the line between Congress and a jail cell, the press suddenly forgets what outrage looks like.
This isn’t just about one Florida Democrat. It’s about a broken system where leftists think the rules don’t apply to them. They can push whatever radical agenda they want and break the law, all while their allies in newsrooms look the other way. If the American people can’t trust the media to even cover ethics scandals fairly, why should anyone believe the next so-called “bombshell” about Republicans?
Globalist elites love to wag their finger at conservatives and call out anyone standing up for American values. But when their chosen politicians get caught red-handed, the silence is deafening. It’s clear real accountability is only for the little people, never for those who play by the Democrat rulebook.
How long are Americans supposed to ignore this two-tiered justice system and shameless double standard? Maybe it’s time voters start demanding real consequences for liberal crooks, not just Republicans.
