Something truly rotten is going on with the far-left protest crowd these days. Just look at what happened in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, where so-called “No Kings” protesters decided that violence and threats are fine—so long as it’s against anyone who dares to disagree with their radical worldview. One conservative reporter simply tried to ask questions and do his job. Instead, he got shoved and cursed at, with one protester even threatening his life. This is what the radical left calls “progress.”
Let’s be very clear here: Leftist activists always talk about tolerance, free speech, and “safe spaces.” But when the cameras aren’t on, when a journalist actually challenges them or asks for the truth, they drop the act and reveal their true nature. It’s intimidation and aggression every time. Meanwhile, the liberal media will keep their mouths shut, pretending these violent outbursts never happen—unless they can blame a conservative, of course.
The hypocrisy is thick. If a conservative so much as raises his voice, it’s wall-to-wall coverage about “right-wing hate” on every network. But leftist protesters can threaten to kill a reporter, and the liberals just look away. Where are the lectures about civility and democracy now? Where’s the outrage from DC politicians who spend every other day whining about so-called threats to democracy? Nowhere, because their “rules” are nothing but political theater.
It’s no surprise, either, that these protest groups are regurgitating the same tired, anti-American slogans. The “No Kings” movement pretends it’s about fighting tyranny, but in the end, it’s just about replacing one kind of oppression with another—their own. They talk big about freedom, but they want to silence, mob, or even physically attack anyone who stands in their way. That’s not patriotism; that’s the playbook of globalists who want America weak, divided, and in chaos.
Americans are tired of this double standard. We’re not fooled by the left’s fake outrage anymore. If the radicals want a shouting match, they’ll get louder voices in return—and far more unity than they ever expected. How long before more Americans finally stand up and ask: Exactly who’s the real threat to democracy now?
