Another shameless international criminal just got a slap on the wrist in America’s justice system, and it’s proof the left’s globalist mindset is putting us all at risk. This week, a Kenyan man, John Muriuku Wamuigah, barely spent two years behind bars for helping run a $12 million cyber scam that reached right into the heart of our businesses and nonprofits. Two years. That’s the price tag for targeting American companies, small businesses, and even charities with high-tech fraud. Is this what passes for justice in Biden’s America?
Let’s look at what these criminals actually did. Wamuigah, taking orders from a Nigerian ringleader, worked the wires and faked official documents to trick honest people out of millions. The victims spanned from New York to Colorado, Alaska, and beyond. A financial company here, a nonprofit there, all robbed by scammers exploiting the system while woke politicians look the other way. Instead of protecting Americans and our money, the globalist talking heads are busy obsessing over “diversity” and “open borders.”
Here’s what the left won’t admit: international fraud isn’t just a foreign problem—it’s coming straight into our backyard because of weak border policies and haphazard enforcement. This scheme didn’t just happen out of thin air. It relied on money mules, including innocent Americans tricked by romance cons, to move the stolen cash. Our country is being looted through our own institutions, while the Department of Justice puts on a show and sends criminals back home with hardly a bruise.
It took American investigators, working with foreign police, to finally catch Wamuigah in Malaysia—another example of America cleaning up problems the rest of the world dumps on us. The ringleaders may have earned longer sentences, but that’s no comfort to the families whose livelihoods were stolen by these international predators. And with liberal politicians soft-pedaling border security and encouraging loopholes in immigration law, is anybody shocked the floodgates to cybercrime are wide open?
Where’s the leadership demanding real protection for American businesses, not just more bureaucratic nonsense? Instead of sending strong messages to these international fraudsters, the justice system hands out light sentences and ships them off, all while average Americans pay the bill. How much longer will we let the globalist elite turn our nation into a playground for criminals? Maybe it’s time the left finally wakes up to whose side they’re supposed to be on—because it sure isn’t ours.
