Liberals Silent as Christian Cardinal Blocked from Church in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday

It’s a sad day when religious leaders can’t even perform blessings in the Holy Land. Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch, showed up in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, ready to offer prayers and hope. Instead, he and three priests were stopped cold—denied entry to a church where they simply wanted to bless their own congregation. Let that sink in.

Liberals love to lecture the world about tolerance and human rights, but where’s the outrage when Christian priests are locked out of their own church in Israel? The left screams about “inclusivity,” but their silence here is deafening. It seems that when Christians are the victims, suddenly no one wants to talk. The so-called caring global elites and their media puppets only jump into action if they can use the story to attack Western values or promote their own globalist narrative.

It’s bad enough that Christians face growing persecution all around the world. Now, it’s happening right in Jerusalem, the very heart of Christianity. Yet, American leftists are too busy championing every other cause under the sun to care about this—unless, of course, they can use it to criticize America or Israel. But when their narrative can’t be spun, they just look away.

Mike Huckabee, never afraid to say what everyone else is thinking, called out this ridiculous denial of basic religious rights. He knows what’s at stake. If Christians can’t celebrate Palm Sunday, what message does that send? Weak leaders and woke bureaucrats keep enabling this nonsense with their cowardly double standards. It’s always open season on Christians, and our own politicians just shrug and mumble about “complex situations.”

Americans should be furious that a church door can be slammed in the face of a Cardinal on one of Christianity’s holiest days—and the world barely notices. If it were a different faith, every liberal news outlet and keyboard activist would be demanding justice. Where’s the accountability now? Maybe it’s time conservatives start asking louder: How long will we let anti-Christian hypocrisy go unchecked?
