It finally happened again: America’s hard-earned tech is headed straight for communist China’s war machine, with help from our own people. Federal prosecutors have just charged a Chinese national, Stanley Yi Zheng, along with two American citizens, Matthew Kelly and Tommy Shad English, in a plot to smuggle $170 million worth of top-tier AI computer chips to China. These three weren’t just dabbling. They allegedly conspired to rip off American companies and hand over our most sensitive, militarily crucial technology to a hostile regime that dreams of dominating us.
While average Americans worry about the skyrocketing cost of groceries or the border invasion engineered by leftist politicians, traitors right in our midst were allegedly working overtime to make sure the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) gets an upgrade in artificial intelligence. These aren’t accidental mistakes. These are calculated moves, using shell companies in Thailand as fake buyers and lying on official documents to hide the chips’ true destination. It’s a dirty game, and the American people are the ones put in danger.
What’s at stake here isn’t just business – it’s national security. Those AI chips aren’t for video games. They power advanced supercomputers that can be used in weapons, surveillance, and military operations. The federal government made it clear: selling this kind of technology to China is illegal. Yet these men allegedly cooked up phony companies, forged certifications, and even coached each other on how to fool compliance reviews. They knew it was wrong. They just didn’t care.
And let’s not forget the disgusting greed at play. Millions of dollars in profits – that’s what tempted these Americans to betray their own country. The emails and chats revealed they didn’t just want to make a quick buck. They wanted to rope in more players and expand the pipeline straight from Silicon Valley to Beijing, all while giggling about fooling the feds. Meanwhile, the left wants us to believe the real threats come from “misinformation” or parental rights groups. Why aren’t the progressives howling about this clear-and-present danger to our freedoms?
Every time this happens, we see the consequences of globalist naivete and liberal incompetence. For decades, the elites told us to embrace China, turn a blind eye, and trust the same bureaucrats who repeatedly fail to protect our borders and our jobs. Well, look where that’s gotten us—once again, patriotic law enforcement had to pick up the pieces and stop a scheme that could have put American soldiers at risk. How many more betrayals will it take before politicians start putting America first?
The fact is, America can’t afford to play nice with enemies who want to steal our future. Export controls are only as strong as our will to enforce them—and the courage to call out traitors, whether they hide in boardrooms or in plain sight. How many times does China need to be caught red-handed before the left admits their open-borders, open-market fantasy is actually a nightmare? This isn’t just a scandal. It’s a wake-up call—for every American who still cares about our security, our jobs, and our sovereignty.
