Bill Maher just did something most liberals won’t dare—he refused to let tired Democrat talking points about Iran fly unchecked. Sitting across from Michigan Democrat Elissa Slotkin on his HBO show, Maher calmly but firmly called out the nonsense. Slotkin tried to act like the Trump administration had no plan or real accomplishments on Iran. But instead of a quiet nod-along, Maher pointed out the obvious: Trump delivered results that Team Biden and Obama could only dream of.
Here’s what the left won’t admit. Iran, at the height of its arrogance, bragged that it had enough uranium for eleven nuclear bombs—until Trump’s “Operation Epic Fury” slammed on the brakes. The man took out their top terrorist, broke their military, eliminated key leaders, and wrecked their missile stockpile. That’s how you deal with America’s enemies, not by bowing down and sending pallets of cash like Democrats did. Even the liberal media, and yes, Al-Jazeera, have admitted the U.S. has the upper hand right now. The Strait of Hormuz? It’ll be ours again. Only Democrats act like we’re losing.
But the liberal meltdown on Maher’s couch didn’t stop there. The host predicted an ugly future for Democrats, pointing out how their party acts allergic to common sense. If you can’t say that there are only two genders, you don’t deserve to win a single election. Remember when Democrats in Pennsylvania couldn’t even support National Women’s Month—because the word “woman” triggered their woke activists? These people are setting themselves up for disaster.
Maher also roasted Gen Z leftists who take their marching orders from Instagram influencers and TikTok, not facts. Democrats have coddled this crowd, and now it’s blowing up in their faces. The more these woke mobs shout about Israel and identity politics, the further Democrats fall out of touch with Americans who still know right from wrong.
It says everything about today’s Democratic Party that one of their own liberals—who’s no conservative himself—gets smeared as a Nazi for daring to tell the truth. That’s how far left, absurd, and hateful their side has become. When a Hollywood comedian can see the train wreck their agenda is causing, maybe it’s time for the rest of the country to wake up. Seriously—how many more self-inflicted wounds will Democrats deliver before voters finally say enough is enough?
