Supreme Court showdown could end birthright citizenship loophole liberals fear the most

It’s about time the left-wing “experts” got a reality check. For years, liberals and their activist judges have insisted that birthright citizenship is some sacred, untouchable right—no matter how blatantly it gets abused. But finally, truth is breaking through the noise. Even respected legal minds are backing up what so many Americans already know: the 14th Amendment was never meant to hand out citizenship to every child born here to tourists, illegal immigrants, and birth tourists looking to game the system.

The Supreme Court is about to hear one of the biggest immigration cases in decades—an answer to President Trump’s executive order limiting automatic citizenship. And now, even a Fordham Law professor is siding with common sense. He’s making it clear: kids born to people just visiting the country shouldn’t automatically become Americans. If your parents are here temporarily, or just passing through on a visa, why should their newborns be granted all the rights and privileges of citizenship? America is a nation of laws, not a hotel with complimentary passports.

Of course, the radical left is losing its mind. Every time Trump, or anyone with a backbone, tries to fix this gaping loophole, out come the activist judges and open-borders fanatics, ready to twist the Constitution into whatever fits their globalist agenda. Remember the so-called “travel loophole” that let Chinese nationals pour into the Mariana Islands visa-free to give birth? That’s birth tourism, plain and simple—a scam turning American citizenship into a prize for anyone with a plane ticket. Democrats looked the other way because it suits their plan: dilute the meaning of being American and keep the votes rolling in.

They love to screech about “constitutional rights”—but completely ignore the original intent behind the laws. The 14th Amendment was written after the Civil War, to make sure the children of freed slaves became citizens. It wasn’t drafted to reward lawbreakers or vacationers with instant, unearned membership in our country. That’s just the truth, no matter how the left tries to spin it.

With oral arguments set, one thing is clear: the elite’s game of endless loopholes and phony moralizing is getting called out. President Trump has been right on this all along—America is for Americans, not for drive-by citizens and opportunistic globalists. Maybe it’s time the Supreme Court woke up and actually defended the country for a change. Or are liberals so addicted to power that they’ll destroy the meaning of citizenship just to win the next election?
