There’s a new trick the left loves—calling every destructive riot “initially peaceful.” It’s almost comical at this point. We’ve all seen how these protests start with chants and signs, until the sun goes down and suddenly there’s looting, chaos, and police under siege. But don’t worry, the media assures us, it was “peaceful,” at least at the beginning. As if that makes the violence and destruction any more excusable.
Democrats and their activist pals want Americans to ignore what happens when they lose control of their angry mobs. Property gets wrecked, police get attacked, and communities are left cleaning up the mess. Meanwhile, liberal politicians trip over themselves to make excuses, blaming some mysterious “outside agitators” or “overzealous law enforcement.” Never mind the real victims—law-abiding citizens who just want their neighborhoods protected.
Let’s be honest, leftist leaders have lost their nerve—if they ever had any to begin with. Instead of cracking down, they worry about being called “authoritarian” by their elite friends in the media. Their weakness only makes things worse. While they talk about “peace,” they handcuff police and kowtow to activist groups that hate America’s values.
This isn’t just about law and order. It’s about what kind of country we want. The left talks a big game about “democracy,” then cheers when democracy gets trashed on city streets. The globalist crowd always finds a way to blame America or claim these riots are some kind of justified uprising. Give us a break. Ordinary Americans know the difference between a protest and a riot—and they’re getting sick of the double standard.
Maybe it’s time for Democrats to drop the tired excuses and admit what everyone can see. A protest that ends with smashed windows wasn’t “initially peaceful.” It was a disaster waiting to happen—and liberal incompetence lit the match. How many more “peaceful” protests gone wrong do we need before someone finally takes responsibility?
