The left’s favorite new leader in Britain just showed the world exactly where his loyalties lie – and it’s not with freedom, or even with his nation’s own allies. Keir Starmer, the UK’s prime minister, made it crystal clear that his government wants no part in helping allies facing the madness coming out of Iran. No matter who is begging for support, Britain—under Starmer—will turn a blind eye and pretend it doesn’t matter.
This is what weakness looks like on the world stage. When a crisis erupts, real leaders step up. But Starmer? He hides behind empty words about “not our war” and shows the same kind of passivity that always gets innocent people hurt. Liberals love to lecture everyone about “international solidarity” and “supporting allies”—that is, until they’re actually called to step up and do something. Then, suddenly, it’s every man for himself.
Let’s not pretend this isn’t about globalist cowardice. The same folks who want open borders and endless foreign handouts are now the first to slam the door in the face of nations fighting real threats. If you’re looking for proof that liberal promises mean nothing, just watch Starmer abandon Britain’s closest friends at the first sign of trouble. Where’s the so-called “special relationship” with America or their responsibilities as part of the free world now? Nowhere to be found.
The world is more dangerous than ever. Enemies are getting bolder. But Western leaders—especially those in the grip of woke, left-wing dogma—want to cower and hope someone else deals with the mess. They’ll snub their noses at real problems overseas, all while lecturing their own citizens about “doing the right thing” back home with pointless virtue-signaling policies. This isn’t leadership. It’s surrender dressed up as wisdom.
Starmer’s stance isn’t just shameful—it’s risky. Leaders like him let tyrants know they can push and prod the West without pushback. How long before America’s own liberals start singing the same song? When will they realize that weakness abroad means danger at home? Maybe it’s time voters everywhere remember: you can’t defend freedom by sitting it out.
