Iran cries foul as Trump gets tough swamp insiders panic over real consequences

Iran’s games are getting old. Once again, the Iranian regime is thumbing its nose at America, refusing to even sit down for direct talks. Of course, they blame the United States, whining that our demands are just too “excessive.” Only in the twisted world of global politics does holding a dangerous, anti-American dictatorship accountable become “unreasonable.”

The left loves to pretend that peace means bowing and scraping before thugs. For years, Democratic leaders led from behind, begging rogue states like Iran to play nice. What did we get in return? Hostages, terrorism, and open threats to wipe out our allies. Liberals called it “diplomacy.” Most Americans called it weakness.

Now we finally have a president who isn’t afraid to play hardball. President Trump actually put Iran on notice—no more cozying up to the world’s top sponsor of terror. He didn’t just talk tough, either. He made it clear there would be real consequences if Iran refused to change its ways. That’s how you get things done.

Predictably, the usual crowd—from the globalist media to D.C. insiders—act horrified that America might actually demand the bad guys give something up. Iran says our expectations are too high? That tells us everything we need to know. Apparently, standing up for American safety is only “acceptable” when it’s watered down to please foreign powers.

Are we supposed to apologize for wanting a better deal? Since when did protecting America become too much to ask? Maybe the swamp should stop worrying about hurting Iran’s feelings and start fighting for American interests for once.
