Democrats are happy to watch our country’s security crumble, while hardworking Americans pay the price. Right now, the Department of Homeland Security is shut down, and what is Congress doing? They’re relaxing on a two-week recess, ignoring the chaos they’re causing. TSA workers, President Trump, and even a few honest lawmakers are demanding that the political class get back to Washington and do their job. But liberals are ignoring these calls, putting their own comfort and political games ahead of America’s safety.
Let’s be clear: shutting down the DHS isn’t just some bureaucratic hiccup. It’s a direct threat to every American family. Airports, borders, and our entire security network are left exposed because the left would rather play petty games than protect this country. They claim to care about everyday people, but when push comes to shove, liberal lawmakers prefer vacations over rescuing our border agents and TSA employees.
It’s amazing. The same Democrats who promise to stand up for workers now turn their backs on the frontline heroes keeping us safe. Where’s their fake compassion now? Unions are begging Congress to stop this madness, but that doesn’t seem to matter to the globalist elites hiding behind closed doors. At this rate, regular Americans are left wondering if anyone in Congress actually cares about America anymore.

He’s not sitting on the sidelines like the liberal establishment—he’s urging Congress to return, get back to work, and restore the DHS so our country can stay safe. The left talks endlessly about protecting democracy, but what democracy are they protecting by leaving the nation’s security agency in the dark while they sip wine and pose for cameras?
It’s time for Republicans to lead, and for every American to demand accountability. Congress is supposed to work for the people, not for themselves. Why should the American public be held hostage by a bunch of entitled politicians who care more about vacations than security?
