Fed shrugs off soaring oil prices while Americans pay the price

The D.C. elites are at it again, playing with America’s future from their fancy offices and pretending they know best. This time, it’s the Federal Reserve’s Jerome Powell, looking straight at the chaos of Middle Eastern war and sky-high oil prices—and shrugging it off like nothing’s wrong. It’s mind-boggling. While families are digging deeper just to keep their cars moving and homes warm, Fed leadership seems perfectly happy to look the other way.

Liberals and the usual globalist crowd wasted no time squawking for higher interest rates. They blame oil. They blame the war. They’ll blame anything except their own idiotic energy policies that crippled the U.S. oil industry and left America at the mercy of foreign thugs. It’s almost impressive how creative leftists can be when it comes to avoiding responsibility for the inflation they helped unleash.

Now Powell and his team want everyone to “look past” the latest surge in oil prices. They act like world events don’t matter for average American families, as if gas pumps aren’t draining wallets every time you fill up. It’s easy for coastal bankers, Democrat activists, and progressive think tanks to play games with numbers. They aren’t paying the price at the checkout counter—real Americans are.

Let’s not forget, all these so-called experts preaching patience are the same folks who pushed reckless spending and endless government handouts. They told us inflation was “transitory” while ignoring the consequences of their Bidenomics disaster. And every time the world gets more dangerous—thanks in no small part to weak American leadership—it’s middle-class workers who pay for it, not the cocktail-party set.

With inflation biting and foreign oil flowing in, why is the Fed still downplaying the pain at home? Is it incompetence or deliberate neglect? Maybe both. What’s certain is that ordinary Americans can’t afford another round of “trust us, we know best” from out-of-touch bureaucrats. At this rate, Washington might as well hand over the keys to the country to the globalists and be done with it.
