Biden Restores Embassy in Venezuela Is This Smart Diplomacy or More Weakness on the World Stage

America Restores Embassy in Venezuela: Another Victory for Common Sense or Just More Weakness?

The United States just decided to restore full diplomatic ties with Venezuela. Let’s call it what it is—a desperate move in a world where liberal policies weaken American power at every turn. Normalizing relations with a hostile regime doesn’t make us look strong. It looks like the Biden administration is begging for approval from international elites. That’s not leadership; that’s appeasement.

For years, Venezuela has stood against everything America values. They crushed free speech, ruined their own economy, and cozied up to every anti-American dictator they could find. Now, suddenly, we’re supposed to play nice and rebuild bridges like nothing happened? Liberal politicians will pat themselves on the back, pretending this is some genius diplomatic move. But it’s really just a way for globalists to open up new trade deals and pretend that all these years of failed socialist policies didn’t matter.

Restoring the embassy is supposed to be a sign of peace, they say. But at what cost? Venezuela gets legitimacy—and who knows what America gets in return. This is the kind of move the left loves, because they care more about being liked by foreign tyrants than actually standing for freedom. We should be demanding real change from Venezuela, not handing out rewards for bad behavior.

Time and time again, liberals push for “normal” relations with countries that hate our values. It’s the same tired playbook that got us nothing but empty promises from Iran, China, and Cuba. It always ends with America giving up something for nothing in return. Do we really need another lesson in how appeasement fails?

When will America stand tall and put our own people first? Diplomacy is fine, but only when it serves American interests—not when it helps dictators save face. Maybe it’s time for a real America-first foreign policy, not more globalist games and virtue signaling. Will Washington ever wake up and remember who they work for?
