For years, Iran has played the world like a fiddle. The mullahs get away with building nukes, threatening their neighbors, and holding the world’s oil supply hostage. Meanwhile, soft-spined liberals beg for “dialogue” and pass out sanctions like candy. But let’s get real: Peace in the Middle East won’t happen if Washington keeps letting Iran call the shots.
It’s time for tough love. Any serious cease-fire with Iran should have two simple rules. First, Iran must destroy every single piece of its nuclear program. Not hide it in some secret desert bunker. Gone. Period. America can’t buy into another fake promise the ayatollahs will break the minute Biden looks away. The whole world knows Iran wants nuclear weapons—does anyone really think inspectors and signatures on a paper will stop them? Conservatives have been calling this out for years while globalists cover their ears.
Second, Iran must open the Strait of Hormuz—no games, no threats, no blockades. This narrow passage controls about 20% of all the oil shipped worldwide. Every time Iran rattles its saber, gas prices shoot up and America’s working families pay the price. If Iran doesn’t like that demand, maybe it shouldn’t threaten the safety of every oil tanker and sailor in the region. Liberals, of course, will say this is “too harsh” or “unrealistic,” but it’s the only way to smack down Iran’s bullying and prove the U.S. won’t be pushed around.
Let’s not forget, every time the West “negotiates,” Iran smirks and keeps cheating. The last so-called deal under Obama gave billions to Iran and put zero real limits on their nuclear dreams. Now the Biden administration acts shocked when Iran breaks every rule in the book. Maybe it’s time to stop trusting America’s sworn enemies more than our own gut instincts.
America shouldn’t settle for less than total victory in any deal. Why hand Iran the keys to the kingdom just to get a fake promise? The left loves to cave and call it “peace”—but the real world doesn’t work that way. You don’t win respect by bowing down to tyrants. You win by standing firm and demanding what’s right. Why should the United States—or any of our allies—give Iran anything until those nukes are gone and their threats on the world’s oil supply are over for good?
