Swalwell Panics as FBI Files on Ties to Chinese Spy Threaten to Blow Up Democrat Secrets

There’s a new mess in Washington, and—surprise, surprise—it involves Democrat Eric Swalwell. His lawyers are in a panic, running to the FBI director and demanding he stop the release of old investigative files. These aren’t just any documents; they’re about Swalwell’s cozy ties, from a decade ago, with a suspected Chinese spy. No criminal charges came out of that investigation. But let’s be honest: since when does “not charged” mean “not guilty,” especially in Pelosi’s California?

Swalwell and his liberal buddies love transparency when it means hounding President Trump or any conservative off the face of the earth. But the second the spotlight lands on one of their own, suddenly it’s all about “privacy” and “national security.” Give me a break. Americans deserve to know if their elected officials have been rubbing elbows with foreign agents—especially when it’s our biggest adversary, Communist China, pulling the strings.

The left spent years spinning tales about Russian collusion. Meanwhile, when a Democrat gets tangled up with a Chinese operative, the whole establishment races to sweep it under the rug. Maybe Swalwell’s team is afraid that Americans will start asking questions they can’t answer. Or maybe they just don’t want their fundraising numbers to dip every time a new detail slips out.

Liberals act like tough talkers on foreign threats, but when the heat is on one of their own, they bend over backward to cover it up. Is this really about justice? Or is it about protecting their little club in Congress from the sunlight? Americans aren’t stupid; they’re tired of this double standard.

Why is Eric Swalwell so desperate to keep these files buried? If he’s got nothing to hide, he should be first in line demanding every page gets released. Unless, of course, the problem is what’s actually in those pages. Maybe it’s time he remembers he works for Americans—not for Beijing, not for himself, and not for the D.C. swamp.
