It’s always the same song and dance with the Democrats—especially when you look north to Alaska. Mary Peltola, the so-called former “representative” who was supposed to be looking out for hardworking Alaskans, has been living it up on her campaign’s dime ever since voters sent her packing. And now, she has the nerve to eye the U.S. Senate, with dreams of unseating Dan Sullivan and handing Alaska’s precious seat right over to the globalist left.
Let’s not pretend this is some harmless hometown hustle. The NRSC finally had enough of the Peltola circus and dropped a bombshell complaint, ripping the lid off her campaign-funded lifestyle. While most Alaskans are trying to keep food on the table and heat in their homes through brutal winters, Peltola seems more interested in lining her own pockets and playing politics with donors’ cash. Is this who Alaskans want representing them in Washington—a grifter in Democrat’s clothing?
It’s the same old liberal hypocrisy, and it stinks all the way from Bethel to D.C. The elite left always tells regular folks to tighten their belts, trust the “experts,” and just swallow whatever globalist scheme comes along. Meanwhile, their chosen politicians fly high, cash in, and thumb their noses at the rules the rest of us follow. Peltola’s campaign apparently thinks the rules just don’t apply if you have a (D) after your name.
This is why voters are fed up. The Democrats’ version of “public service” is just another free ticket to luxury, at the expense of the American people. Peltola had her shot and blew it—just like the rest of her party, she’s more interested in power than principle. Want a better future for Alaska? It sure won’t come from a candidate who treats campaign funds like it’s Monopoly money.
The question isn’t whether Mary Peltola should win a Senate seat; it’s how she ever thought Alaska was gullible enough to fall for her charade twice. Maybe it’s time the Democrats learned that hard-working Americans are done footing the bill for their political joyrides.
