Once again, a federal judge has stepped in to protect the Left’s favorite echo chambers at NPR and PBS. President Trump tried to stop forcing American taxpayers to bankroll partisan, government-funded media. But one unelected judge decided his feelings mattered more than the will of the people.
Let’s be real: NPR and PBS have spent years cozying up to progressive elites, spewing one-sided stories, and never missing a chance to bash conservatives. Yet, somehow, they always expect working families from the heartland to pay for their propaganda. That’s right, your hard-earned money is going to fund outlets that look down their noses at Middle America. If you ever criticize these networks, the liberal media establishment labels you a threat to “free speech.” What a joke.
Now, this judge claims that ending the funding would violate the First Amendment. Apparently, if you stop pouring taxpayer cash into a liberal mouthpiece, you’re attacking free speech itself. Only in today’s upside-down world can defunding a political tool be twisted into “viewpoint discrimination.” Funny how the Left never worries about conservative voices getting shut out and silenced—they just care about their own pet projects.
The hypocrisy is as thick as it gets. When a Republican president acts to stop taxpayer money from propping up his political opponents, the courts jump in to protect the swamp. But when conservatives struggle to be heard in mainstream media and Big Tech, where are these so-called guardians of free speech? Nowhere to be found.
Once again, the ruling class circles the wagons to defend their own. NPR and PBS aren’t spreading “public information”—they’re spreading the Left’s agenda. If these networks truly served all Americans, they wouldn’t beg Congress for cash to stay afloat. Maybe it’s time for NPR and PBS to survive in the real world, just like everyone else. If liberals love them so much, let them pay for them! Why should taxpayers fund their own ridicule?
