Liberals rush to reopen embassy in Venezuela after years of failure

For years, Venezuela has been a symbol of everything wrong with socialism. Its people suffered while corrupt elites like Nicolás Maduro clung to power, crushing anyone who dared to speak out. American diplomats were forced to pack up and leave as chaos took over. Now, all of a sudden, the United States government is reopening its embassy in Caracas, just because Maduro has finally been captured. Let’s not pretend this is some brave new era—it’s the result of years of liberal weakness.

Remember, President after president tiptoed around the issue, ignoring the cries of the Venezuelan people while the country descended into misery. The globalist left was too busy appeasing dictators and cozying up to socialist regimes to pay attention to the human cost. For them, Venezuela was just another bargaining chip in their “foreign policy games.” Meanwhile, the average person on the street was left to fight for scraps.

Now, with Maduro out of the picture, some bureaucrats have decided it’s safe to put the American flag back up in Caracas. But don’t be fooled. This isn’t some victory for democracy; this is liberals trying to clean up their mess after letting socialists run wild for years. They turned a blind eye while a country bled, and now they want credit for showing up late to the party.

Opening the embassy again is nothing more than putting a Band-Aid on a gunshot wound. The damage has already been done. Families have been destroyed, communities torn apart, and all because the so-called “leaders” in D.C. couldn’t stand firm against tyranny. The left was too busy lecturing Americans about “tolerance” to notice the disaster they helped enable abroad.

It’s about time someone called out this sham. America should stand strong against every evil regime, not wait until the dust settles. The embassy may have reopened, but the question remains: how many more countries have to collapse before the left grows a backbone and puts America’s interests first?
