Once again, the radical left has shown just how far they’ll go to erase anything that doesn’t fit their twisted narrative. In Providence, Rhode Island, a community wanted to honor Iryna Zarutska—a train stabbing victim—with a simple mural. But the far-left mob couldn’t keep their outrage to themselves. They bent over backwards to shut down the mural, claiming it was “divisive.” Apparently, to woke Democrats, honoring an innocent victim is too controversial.
The city’s own Democrat mayor jumped at the chance to score woke points, calling the mural a problem. Since when did paying tribute to an innocent person become some great crime? For left-wing bureaucrats, virtue signaling seems more important than basic human decency. It’s clear their loyalty is not with everyday Americans. Instead, they bow to the loudest, most radical voices—while families like Iryna’s are pushed aside.
Liberals never miss a chance to preach about “unity” and “inclusion,” but their actions show the truth. If a project doesn’t fit their agenda, they’ll pull the plug—no questions asked. Victims who don’t serve their narrative simply get erased. Meanwhile, these same Democrats trip over themselves to honor criminals or glorify destructive ideologies. Where’s the justice in that?
It’s no wonder people are fed up. The American public is tired of politicians who don’t actually care about victims, law-abiding citizens, or the safety of our cities. They see through the hypocrisy: leftists only pretend to care, as long as it gets them applause from globalist elites and die-hard activists. Real Americans want honest tribute and real justice—not a bunch of empty statements or political games.
Maybe next time the mayor of Providence will listen to the people who actually live there instead of catering to woke extremists online. Or is expecting compassion from radical Democrats just too much to ask?
