Mayor Adams child-care plan secretly showers perks on insiders while real families lose out

Mayor Adams’ latest so-called child-care plan is nothing more than a handout for City Hall insiders. Liberals promise to help working families, but when the dust settles, it’s always the well-connected who walk away with the goodies. Take a closer look at this “pilot program.” It’s not about lifting up the average New Yorker. Instead, it’s a lucky lottery—if you’re chummy with the people in power.

While regular moms and dads are scrambling to find safe, affordable care for their kids, City Hall’s family and friends are busy getting special treatment. This is the elite club at work. Forget about equity. Forget about fairness. The mayor’s friends get all the best perks, while hardworking folks slog through endless waitlists.

Meanwhile, the activists and politicians brag about their progress. They pat themselves on the back and claim they’re “helping families.” The truth? They’ve built a golden playground for the bureaucrats, and locked the taxpayer outside the gates. If you think this is “public service,” you’ve got another thing coming. Ordinary parents keep spinning their wheels, while public money pours into programs that take care of City Hall first.

The hypocrisy is off the charts. Liberal leaders love to campaign on closing the “opportunity gap.” But when they get the chance to spend taxpayer dollars, the gap grows wider. Is this what New Yorkers voted for—a city that puts government VIPs ahead of real families? This crooked game would make Tammany Hall blush.

City budgets are tight. Schools need support and subways are a mess. But somehow, there’s always enough for insider benefits cooked up behind closed doors. Liberals in the Big Apple keep pretending they’re fighting for the little guy. In reality, their real cause is keeping their own friends fat and happy at the public trough. The rest of us get left with the scraps. How much longer will New Yorkers put up with this rigged system?
