While regular moms and dads are scrambling to find safe, affordable care for their kids, City Hall’s family and friends are busy getting special treatment. This is the elite club at work. Forget about equity. Forget about fairness. The mayor’s friends get all the best perks, while hardworking folks slog through endless waitlists.
Meanwhile, the activists and politicians brag about their progress. They pat themselves on the back and claim they’re “helping families.” The truth? They’ve built a golden playground for the bureaucrats, and locked the taxpayer outside the gates. If you think this is “public service,” you’ve got another thing coming. Ordinary parents keep spinning their wheels, while public money pours into programs that take care of City Hall first.
The hypocrisy is off the charts. Liberal leaders love to campaign on closing the “opportunity gap.” But when they get the chance to spend taxpayer dollars, the gap grows wider.
