Iran Bullies Europe While Washington Sleeps Is This the End of Western Power

Europe is sleepwalking into disaster, and the spineless response from Washington isn’t helping. Right now, Iran gets to decide whose oil tankers cross a critical chokepoint. Why? Because our own Navy, the pride of the West, seems to be lounging around while Tehran calls the shots. Where’s the outrage from Brussels or the White House? All we hear are crickets.

From what’s happening in D.C., it’s clear the naval brass isn’t moving to reopen the strait with any urgency. The world’s most powerful fleet—and yet, they’re looking the other way as Iranian thugs dictate terms on international shipping. This isn’t just a military issue; this is about backbone. Or, in this case, the lack of it. The Biden crowd and their European pals would rather hold hands and sing songs about “international cooperation” than stand up for free trade and Western interests.

Meanwhile, oil flows slow to a trickle. European leaders—so smug about their “green transitions”—are learning the hard way that their virtue signaling won’t keep the lights on when hostile regimes choke their energy supply. Maybe German ministers should add wind turbines to their luxury limos while they wait for someone else to rescue their economy.

Let’s be honest. If a conservative president sat in the Oval Office, Iran wouldn’t be bullying anyone. The Navy would already be in motion, tanks full and guns loaded. But under liberal leadership, the West bows to every tyrant and apologizes for being strong. Weakness invites aggression—and Iran knows it.

Here’s the harsh truth: If Europe wants to survive, it needs real courage, not more globalist conferences or eco-fantasies. America used to lead; now, we’re watching the world be carved up by thugs while the left checks opinion polls. How much longer before we stop letting our enemies run the show?
