Congress bends the knee as King Charles storms Washington and Americans are left behind

When did America start rolling out the red carpet for kings again? Later this month, King Charles III, the unelected ruler of Britain, is coming to Washington and will be standing in front of Congress to give them a speech. This is what happens when liberals run things — instead of standing up for our own country, we let the royal family waltz into the halls of American power, like we never even fought a Revolution.

King Charles is coming on a so-called “state visit,” but let’s not kid ourselves. What business does an English monarch have lecturing Congress in the first place? America broke free from the British Crown to escape being ruled by distant elites. Yet here’s Congress, especially the left-wing crowd, rolling over and begging for the approval of a king. It’s embarrassing, and it shows how far the globalist mindset has infected our leadership.

Liberals love to talk about democracy and people power, but every time a royal or international celebrity shows up, they fall all over themselves in worship. Remember, this is the same Congress that can barely be bothered to listen to hardworking Americans. But bring in some European elite, and suddenly every seat is filled and every tie is straightened. This is the real face of the political establishment — obsessed with the gaudy glamour of foreign rulers while ignoring Main Street USA.

King Charles is just the latest shiny distraction for our politicians. They’d rather pose for selfies with the king than confront border chaos, runaway inflation, or the endless culture war eroding our nation’s values. It’s easier to clap for a British monarch than face the real problems real Americans are dealing with. The swamp loves a spectacle, and this visit is a perfect excuse for them to avoid doing their jobs.

America was founded by patriots with the guts to stand up to the British crown. Now, our Congress is bending the knee, eager for the approval of the exact kind of power we once fought off. What’s next — letting King Charles set our tax rates? The Founding Fathers would be rolling in their graves. If this is what leadership looks like now, maybe it’s time to remind Congress where their loyalty should lie: with the American people, not foreign royalty.
