For years, liberals in Europe have tiptoed around Iran, wringing their hands and spouting empty words. They love to hold meetings and issue statements, but everyone knows those don’t keep the world safe. Meanwhile, the real leaders—America’s allies in the Gulf—are finally showing what real courage looks like.
Instead of bowing to the weak-kneed globalist crowd, our partners in the Middle East are getting ready to act. They aren’t looking the other way as Iran keeps threatening shipping in the Strait. No, they’re prepared to get their hands dirty and stand up to a regime that’s been pushing its luck for far too long. Maybe it’s time the West takes notes.
All the talk from European elites means nothing to Iran. They know they can bully the so-called experts in Brussels and Paris with empty threats. But try pulling that with the Gulf states, and there’s a very different answer. Our Arab allies understand that peace is earned, not begged for. If a show of force is what it takes to keep vital sea lanes open and stop Iran’s games, they’re willing to step up.
It’s almost funny to watch the left try to defend their “diplomacy first” fantasy. They claim that talking solves everything, but look where that’s gotten us—more Iranian aggression and more chaos. The Gulf is saying enough. Weakness invites aggression, and the West’s endless appeasement has only made Iran bolder.
This is a reminder for all the so-called peacemakers who think the world’s biggest problems can be solved with hashtags and speeches: real strength matters. If the Gulf states can take a stand, why can’t the so-called leaders in DC and Europe? Maybe it’s time to trade in jawboning for action—and make it clear to Iran (and the globalists who coddle them) that the grown-ups are back in charge.
