You Won’t Believe How Hollywood’s Obsession With Woke Agendas Is Destroying Your Favorite Shows

Hollywood’s Woke Disease: Why Entertainment Is Dying

Once again, Hollywood has taken something promising and turned it into a ridiculous, preachy mess. It’s like they just can’t help themselves. They finally make an engaging show—a gritty hospital drama set in Pittsburgh emergency rooms, with smart writing, fast-paced medical action, and talented actors. People tune in to get a dose of adrenaline—compound fractures, spurting arteries, doctors racing against the clock. Hollywood delivers… for about eighty percent of the run. Then, as always, they ruin it with woke lectures.

Viewers are force-fed a steady diet of leftist talking points. The entire cast treats pronoun confusion like a matter of life and death, because, in Hollywood’s eyes, everyone must stop and worship at the altar of the latest identity trend. A man walks in pretending to be a woman, and the staff scrambles to coddle his delusions. But don’t expect any real questions or complications that reflect the messy reality outside of a writers’ room bubble. Nope—every trans character is automatically a hero, and you’re the villain if you see it any other way.

Then there’s the parade of “unhoused” saints who stroll into the ER. No one is homeless, a drug addict, or off their rocker—they’re just innocent victims of unfair circumstances. Apparently, decades of bad liberal policy, which emptied out the asylums and glorified self-destruction, had nothing to do with it. Hollywood wants you to believe these “unhoused” folks just magically ended up in misery, and only gentle leftist compassion can save them. When illegals cross the border and use American resources, they’re portrayed as Mary Magdalene reborn—angelic, abused by evil ICE agents, working way harder than actual taxpayers. The showrunners never mention the real burdens on American citizens or discuss the broken system their own heroes created.

And you’d better believe there’s always a new villain. Strangely, it’s never the violent drug dealer, the gangbanger, or even the unstable vagrant. The bad guy is usually a white, working American—sometimes a businessman or a dad, maybe just a frustrated patient who waited hours behind the line-jumpers. If a middle-aged guy with a job finally loses his patience? According to Hollywood, that’s the true threat. He gets painted as a symbol of entitlement, his every misstep proof that American values are rotten. But when someone else attacks a nurse or melts down on drugs, they’re labeled misunderstood victims who need extra love and forgiveness.

It’s all propaganda dressed up as primetime TV. Law enforcement is always shown as faceless and cruel, especially if they dare enforce immigration law or try to keep order. Doctors lecture ICE agents for doing their jobs, and somehow, the audience is supposed to side with those breaking the law, not those upholding it. The hypocrisy is clear: compassion for criminals, scorn for citizens who follow the rules. Viewers get one sermon after another about healthcare “crises,” but never hear how the disaster came from the very policies these same liberals championed. Don’t expect anyone to utter the word “Obamacare” as they rant about the system.

This isn’t entertainment—it’s indoctrination, pure and simple. Hollywood no longer cares if they alienate regular Americans. Their stories aren’t about reflecting real life or telling good tales—they’re recruiting for their woke cult. Maybe that’s why more Americans are tuning out, searching for shows that respect their intelligence instead of treating them like bad students in detention. But here’s a thought: if every white-collar villain, every “evil” citizen, and every glorious lawbreaker lived next door to these screenwriters in Malibu, how long before the messages changed? Maybe, just maybe, Americans are sick of being lectured by hypocrites in designer clothes.
