Tony Evers Is No “Education Governor”—He’s the Chaos Governor
Remember when Democrats shrieked that education was a “right”? Funny how quickly they drop that line when it suits their radical agenda. Wisconsin’s Governor Tony Evers has just shown parents and teachers exactly where his priorities lie—and, spoiler alert, it’s not with safe, strong classrooms or our kids’ futures.
Evers just vetoed a common-sense bill that would have given teachers the power to remove violent and disruptive students from their classrooms. Common sense, right? Not to liberals—who think “disruption” is just “self-expression” and discipline is some kind of hate crime. Now, thanks to Evers, teachers have less authority and students have less safety. Your child’s right to learn doesn’t matter when it gets in the way of leftist virtue signaling.
For years, teachers across Wisconsin have begged for help as classrooms spiral out of control. Administrators don’t want to be “too harsh.” Discipline? That’s “problematic,” the left argues. But ask any teacher on the front lines—bad behavior is driving good teachers out, making the teacher shortage even worse. Evers had a chance to finally put students and teachers first. Instead, he chose to keep schools dangerous, chaotic, and on a fast track to failure.
Parents aren’t even kept in the loop when serious incidents happen to their kids at school. This bill would have forced schools to notify parents and actually hold repeat troublemakers accountable. Evers said “no.” All while academic scores keep dropping and violence inside classrooms becomes the new normal. Is it any wonder why families are desperate to get their kids out of these failing government-run schools?
The truth is simple: Democrats like Tony Evers care more about appeasing their activist base and pushing race-baiting, social justice nonsense than protecting your child’s right to a real education. The result? More teachers quitting, more children falling behind, and more excuses from elites who send their own kids to private schools. Chaos in the classroom isn’t a bug of the left’s agenda—it’s the feature. Wisconsin’s children are paying the price.
So here’s the million-dollar question—how many more kids have to get hurt or fail before voters wake up and fire these so-called “leaders”? If you want safe schools and honest learning, you won’t find it under Governor Evers. It’s time to say enough.
