New revelations prove ActBlue, the Democrats’ favorite fundraising machine, couldn’t—or wouldn’t—keep foreign money out of their pockets. That’s not just incompetence. That’s a slap in the face to every American who still cares about fair elections.
When pressed by Congress about how they vet donations, ActBlue’s bigwigs tried to sound tough, boasting about multi-layered security and airtight protocols. But the ugly truth is finally coming to light: a law firm’s own memos show that what ActBlue sold to Congress was fiction. Not only were those “layers” of security full of holes, sometimes the rules weren’t followed at all. And let’s be real—if this had happened with a conservative PAC, the leftist media would be calling for handcuffs.
It gets even worse. Internal documents show ActBlue changed its own fraud policies—twice. And not to tighten things up. No, they made it easier for sketchy, suspicious, even foreign money to pour into Democrat war chests. During a critical election year, they relaxed standards so much that between 14 and 28 illegal contributions slipped through every month. Over 6 percent of dirty donations sailed right past their so-called safeguards. All while Democrat leaders were yelling about Russia and “defending democracy.”
Of course, the minute this scandal started to unravel, panicked resignations hit ActBlue like dominoes. Executives ran for the exits as legal warnings piled up. Now, the GOP’s overseeing the investigation, and even a few honest folks on the left are demanding answers. Apparently, when trouble hits this close to home, suddenly even the liberal media can’t look away.
The double standard is nauseating. When Republicans raise a red flag about election integrity, it’s called “conspiracy.” But when the Democrats’ own blue machine lets foreign cash fuel their campaigns, we’re all supposed to look the other way?
