With Vice President JD Vance at the helm, this team busted two separate hospice scams in Los Angeles that together fleeced taxpayers out of $16 million. That’s not just pocket change. That’s money straight out of the pockets of hardworking Americans, funneled into the hands of greedy fraudsters who thought no one was watching.
Here’s the twisted game: so-called “care” providers were shoving patients who didn’t even qualify into their fraudulent programs, milking Medicare for all it was worth—$30,000 per patient! The minute the cash ran out, these sick individuals were thrown out on the street, no longer of use to the bureaucrats and fake do-gooders lining their pockets with our dollars. Even worse, these crooks were forging medical records and faking documentation so they could keep cashing in. This isn’t healthcare—it’s abuse. And it’s being funded by you and me.
At another sham operation, the scam artists enticed patients with $600 bribes every month, targeting the most vulnerable—seniors—just to keep the Medicare gravy train rolling. Meanwhile, they were billing the federal government a staggering $6,000 a month per fake patient. They even hired marketers to chase down more people for the scam, as if this was some kind of twisted sales job. These are the tactics of conmen, not caregivers.
Here’s the most damning part: almost nobody in these facilities even died. In real hospices, around 80 percent of patients pass away within the first few weeks. But in these Democrat-run scams, after eight months, a whopping 97 percent were still alive! That’s because most of these people were never sick to begin with. They were simply names on a list to collect government money—another shining example of California’s broken, unregulated system. Liberal politicians in the state have the nerve to deny there’s a problem, all while California hands out hospice licenses to anyone with a pen and a printer. No oversight, no questions asked, and certainly no accountability.
While Democrats repeat their tired talking points and pretend there’s nothing wrong, America’s money is being stolen. Imagine what else is festering beneath the surface in states where the Left runs wild and refuses to enforce any standards. Thank God there’s finally a task force willing to crack skulls rather than look the other way.
