Don Lemon just can’t stay out of the spotlight, even when nobody’s asking him to step back into it. After flunking out of CNN—yes, the same CNN that lets almost anything slide—Lemon is now floating the idea of running for president. Apparently, failing at journalism means you get promoted to the biggest job in the world. That’s the kind of twisted logic you can only find in liberal circles, where accountability is a dirty word and delusional dreams are king.
Even better, Lemon says the only thing stopping him from jumping into the race is waiting for a sign from God. But not just any God—the former TV anchor is out there insisting God is female! Only a modern leftist could take a totally personal spiritual matter, twist it to fit the latest identity trend, and then weaponize it as a campaign talking point. Sorry, Lemon, but Americans want real leadership, not virtue-signaling and gender politics masquerading as faith.
It’s no surprise that Lemon’s making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Left-wing elites are desperate to reinvent themselves after their scandals, firings, and failures. When it’s finally time to accept responsibility, they double down, rebrand, and try to lecture the rest of us from a new platform. Lemon is just the latest example—a failed news anchor turned would-be president, using faith as a punchline rather than a guide.
This is what happens when the media bubble bursts and reality comes crashing in. The liberal establishment rewards failure, celebrates identity politics, and ignores what everyday Americans actually care about. The United States is looking for strong leaders who believe in traditional values, not celebrities who think national leadership is just another way to trend on social media.
Maybe Lemon should listen for another “sign”—like the millions of Americans who are fed up with self-obsessed talking heads and their out-of-touch agendas. If this is the best the left can offer, maybe it’s time they stop looking for signs from above and start looking in the mirror.
